Cassie Miller grew up in Bloomington, Illinois, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana. Her passion for Catholic education was further nurtured through her formation in the Seton Teaching Fellowship. Ms. Miller brings experience to her role, having previously taught pre-kindergarten and kindergarten at Embers Academy in Niles, Illinois.
Ms. Miller’s favorite saint is Our Lady of Guadalupe, and her favorite prayer is the Anima Christi. She has a tender and compassionate approach to teaching, honoring the dignity of each child and celebrating their God-given gifts. Her classroom reflects her deep commitment to fostering a loving and faith-filled environment where students can grow in their relationship with God.
Ms. Miller’s faith journey has been shaped by a strong Catholic education and the support of a vibrant faith community. Through a personal invitation from Jesus, she has developed a special relationship with Him and finds joy in discovering Christ through her students and sharing His love with others.
Ms. Miller also cherishes her “saint squad,” which includes Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Oscar Romero, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Ann. She believes their intercession has guided her to her role at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
In her free time, Ms. Miller enjoys deepening her faith and building connections within the Catholic community as well as thrifting, paint by number, baking and crosswords. Her joyful spirit and dedication to her students make her a valued member of the SVdP family.
