STRONG FAITH
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6We help St. Vincent de Paul students grow in their faith by providing valuable experiences of shared prayer and worship. The love of Christ, the joy of the Gospel, and the teachings of the Catholic Church are at the core of our religion curriculum and reach far beyond the classroom walls. The Christian moral values of trust, honesty, integrity, moral decision making and caring for others are integrated into all aspects of the curriculum.
CONFIDENT LEADERS
At St. Vincent de Paul, we encourage children to be thoughtful, creative, and industrious in their pursuit of knowledge. A culture of service runs deep within our school. We strive to create a desire among students to serve others by providing meaningful community service opportunities. We introduce the spirit of volunteerism and the importance of serving those less fortunate throughout your child’s education. All students are encouraged to participate in food drives and charitable collections, while 7th and 8th grade students are required to complete 20 hours of community service.
NURTURING ENVIRONMENT
St. Vincent de Paul is a peaceful community where respect, kindness, and reconciliation are foundational elements. Our teachers and staff view themselves as partners with you in educating your child. With smaller class sizes, we have the ability to deliver personalized, one-on-one attention to meet the needs of every student.
REACHING HIGHER
We understand the world around us changes quickly, and it is up to us to make sure our students stay current. That’s why we ensure our students have the latest technology available to them. With our proprietary STEM curriculum, we combine the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, math to develop students’ critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. We also give our students opportunities to learn through unique hands-on experiences. For example, we have repurposed some unused outdoor space on school grounds into a vibrant living habitat.
DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES
From sports to the arts, St. Vincent de Paul offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities that meet the interests of every student. Art Club, Bridge Building, Scholastic Bowl, Student Council, Chess Club, FIRST Lego League, and the School Newspaper are just a few examples of the clubs and organizations we offer. Students with passion for the arts have the opportunity to participate in choir, band, and even a yearly musical production under the direction of a professional theatre actor and director. Our sports include cross country, golf, soccer, softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, and track and field. We are proud to be Vikings!
